Sølvkælderen (meaning The Silver Basement) is located in the basement of Kompagnistræde 1. It offers all sorts of silver products – plates, cups, knives, forks, candelabras, jewelry and so much more. Our staff is passionate about silver and offer great expertise and politeness. We look forward to welcoming you to our shop!

About our shop

Sølvkælderen is located in the heart of Copenhagen. It was first established in 1851 at Højbro Plads 4, but moved to Kompagnistræde 1 in 1955. The former owner worked in the shop for 58 years.

About silver

Silver is not just a precious metal. It has many special properties and a long history. We offer beautiful silver pieces from around the world that can inspire and transform any surrounding.

We offer to polish your silverware at a reasonable price.
